Xmas 2007

Yes, i know, im a little late with the christmas pictures lol. I hope everyone had a nice christmas and new years. I went home to my parents this year for the holidays and i loved it. its been a while since i was home for xmas. The girls had a blast too and thats what is important. They got way to much from santa this year ;). Hmmm, what has been going on since the last time i posted....on new years eve we found out we are pregnant again, due on Sept 11th, pretty cool huh? But we also found out that james is getting deployed and he will miss the birth of the baby. Im pretty bummed about that but i will be going home to have the baby. My mom is pretty happy about that lol as some of you can imagine. We lived in Germany when we had the girls so she couldnt be there for when they were born. I have alot of mixed emotions about the whole situation but i know everything will be ok and ill get through it. James comes back only a few wks after i have the baby so its not like he wont be missing TO much, besides the birth of his last baby lol.
anyway, i think thats about it for now. We are doing great, the girls are getting bigger. Ashlynn is still doing great in PreK and loves it. We are trying to potty train makaila and thats an adventure in itself.lol

Ashlynn's 5th birthday!

Ashlynn had her party at the bowling alley this year. She had a blast and is so excited to finally be 5. Its like she has been waiting to turn 5 from the moment she turned 4. lol. I still cant believe that my baby is 5yrs old. The past 5yrs have gone by SO fast. I uploaded some pictures. Check them out.

Halloween 2007

The girls had a blast last night. It sure was a long day. We started out letting the girls decorate some cookies with their friends across the street. Which turned out to be pure madness, but the kids had fun and thats what counts! It was sad that james couldnt be here. He really wanted to be, but i made sure to take alot of pictures for him. Makaila did really good with saying Trick Or Treat just not loud enough lol. She would have NOTHING to do with any house that was scarey, she literally ran the opposite direction lol. They got alot of candy that is for sure. The pics are in the Photo Albums. I hope ya'll enjoy them.

Pumpkin Patch

Hey everyone,
ive been a little slack with these pictures. we went the weekend before last and the girls loved it. Nothing new going on really with us. James leaves on the 30th to go to TX for training. So he will miss halloween and will be alone on his bday :(. the joys of the military. He will be gone for 2.5wks so its not that long. The girls are pretty excited about Halloween though. We have been practicing with makaila to say Trick or Treat. Anyone who knows her knows that is pretty tough since she doesnt want to talk that much lol. But she does pretty good, i doubt she will actually say it to strangers though. Ashlynn was the same way, now she cant wait to say it! Ashlynn is going to be a witch, a shocker really. She usually always wants to be something pretty. But i bought her a pretty hat lol. And makaila will be the cutest bumble bee around! i LOVE her costume. Anyway, thats about all that has been going on around here. Hope ya'll enjoy the pictures.

New Orleans

New Orleans was a very interesting trip lol
we loved the zoo though, very nice and big. it was a very sad sight to see that New Orleans is still so damaged from the hurricane. so many businesses and houses still destroyed, it really did look like the hurricane was just last week, very sad! The Garden Distric, where our hotel was at was nice but still alot of damage there from all the winds. I cant believe its been 2yrs and not much has been done. Our hotel was a joke, never book anything from bookit.com. the pictures looked nice but it was nothing like the pictures. The elevator felt like it was about to break as soon as we stepped on it and it stunk of bleach and mold EWW. The French Quaters was cool to look at but not what i really expected. Germany was cleaner LOL. Bourbon St, i refused to walk down with the girls, i dont shelter my girls by any means but i wasnt going to walk that street with them. But i did enjoy the markets that were near the Mississippi River. We walked around there for a while and took some pictures. It was fun to laugh at all the ummm "different" people. But it did have a nice vibe there. Over all it was a nice trip, just wish we would have been before Katrina. I posted some pictures into our Photo Album, hope ya'll enjoy them.

Ashlynn's Haircut

so i guess ashlynn decided she needed a haircut. the other morning i go check on the girls in their room cause they are being TOOO quite. i go in there and i saw that makaila had cut up the blinds. So im about to yell at her when i glance over at ashlynn, im standing there trying to figure out WHY she looks different and it dawns on me that she has BANGS!!! she didnt have bangs a few min ago lol. she had cut her hair. so im standing there, not really sure how to react, to be mad or laugh, i think i was a little bit of both. lol anyway, here are the pics.




so that same day we go to get it fixed. which i think she made it worse, besides ashlynn didnt do all that bad cutting her own hair lol

oh well, its hair and it will grow back, im just pissed that i went through her younger years to NOT cut her bangs for her to just do it herself...UGH

oh yeah, i got mine cut too, probably why she wanted to do hers lol

the girls swimming

we went to a bday party today where they had a pool. the girls had a blast! makaila was fearless and was jumping off the diving board and ashlynn was a little fish, swimming in the deep end as if she has been swimming all her life, lol. i just posted some pictures into the album. i hope ya'll enjoy them.
